Imbros Gorge is second in popularity after Samaria. This valley has long been the only way
through high and rugged mountains in the area of Hora Sfakion. The walk is not complicated,
and this path is even easier. The Gorge is about 8 km long and takes 2.5 – 3 hours. The
entrance is at altitude of about 700 meters above sea level and descending, you can enjoy
the mountain scenery. This scenery will change like a kaleidoscope: dry river bed of rare low
thorny bushes, hills with cypresses and oaks, mountain, narrow passages between high,
deep cliffs which in some places they reach only 1.5 meters.
After dinner you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the Libyan Sea.
